Hello, I’m going to resist the urge to write a biography. Suffice to say that I don’t have an engineering degree and I am not skilled with electronics. I’ve watched Leo’s channel for a long time and would like to participate in this niche community from the start, though.
I’m a generalist with a background in IT and product development/PM with particular emphasis on textiles/sewing and packaging (including bulk liquid transport of all things). I’m decent with CAD and my 3D printer is typically extruding some weird experiment I’ve designed instead of a downloaded one. I don’t do social media, but here’s my Printables page and my YouTube if anyone wants to check out what I’ve shared.
Before it got bought and destroyed my “home” online was a site call The Tech Report. I was something of an unofficial community manager there and wrote for them occasionally as well. To this day I still host an annual BBQ that folks from mostly the US attend (>20 years now). So yeah, I’m big on real community.
