I became momentarily obsessed with trying to build a Laser Cut/PVC Pipe version of the Bonetti Electrostatic Machine.

Sadly, since I live in Bangkok where the humidity is seldom below 70%, I cannot get this contraption to produce anything.

I would add a transparent enclosure and put silica gel granules in a tray inside. If you use the color changing granules, you can see when to regenerate. Restoring the performance of saturated silica gel granules is a whole other topic and possibly suitable for here?
I would be interested to learn how to regenerate desiccant materials.
